Over the last few years, The Phoenix has been in rapid growth mode over the last few years and have been building our HR team to support our over 100 employees. We've invested in building out our HR team to include employee relations, HR operations, and talent acquisition. Now it is time for us to add an HR Director to our team-that's where you come in.

  • Ensure The Phoenix has the right talent practices and policies in place to ensure employee well-being
  • Lead the Human Resources (HR) team
  • Maintain a solid point of view on our organization's talent position that is rooted in both skills and knowledge and also contribution to the culture of the organization
  • Implementing new HR systems, processes, and best practices
  • Capturing and analyzing talent data in a meaningful way that helps drive moments of insight on where things are going well and where we need to prioritize focus and resources
  • Collaborating with leaders to create short, medium, and long-term talent plans to close existing talent gaps and ensure the right people are in the right roles
  • Partnering with leaders to ensure staff members have a clear articulation of their role and responsibilities that is shared with their supervisor and rooted in how they create value
  • Learning and applying Market Based Management© (MBM) to solve problems and drive better decisions within our organization


  • 7+ years of personnel management preferred
  • 7+ years of HR experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Comfortable challenging business leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to be a strong leader
  • Strong bias towards action and ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Excitement for the vision and mission of The Phoenix
